Shirt Works Maple Plank

This reclaimed maple comes from a large factory on Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire border. When it was built in 1907, it was expected to employ 400 people, but in its heyday probably employed even more. These are narrow boards and we have deliberately done as little to the wood as possible to retain the scratches and scuffs that make it so characterful.
