RECM3152 Sandford 1-Strip - Engineered European Oak Wood Flooring - UV Oiled - 13x120mm - Rustic

RECM3152 Sandford is a multi-coloured engineered European oak floor installed in a 1-strip pattern. Its engineered construction provides significant stability to the board allowing for natural wood expansion without compromising on the real wood aesthetic.

During production, the sawm timber is passed through rotating brushes to accentuate the grain's structure and give a natural texture to the surface. The surface is then prefinished with a UV cured hard wax oil that offers the advantages of lacquer with the subtlety of oil. This micro-porous, water-repellent surface finish also offers higher protection from stains.

With its 'Rustic' grading, all the natural features of a tree will be present with all shapes and sizes of knots. Distinctive sapwood and heartwood add further layers of beauty and you should expect checks and possibly some end shake.

The subtle two-sided bevel found upon the long edges adds visual interest yet keeps the ends of the boards closely connected for an uninterrupted flow. RECM3032 featured a tongue & groove profile and should be fully bonded to the subfloor using a suitable adhesive or floated on a high-quality underlay.
