HW2102 Lavardon 1-Strip - Engineered European Oak Wood Flooring - Matt Lacquered - 14x180mm - Rustic

HW2102 Lavardon is a dark brown engineered European oak floor installed in a 1-strip pattern. It's engineered construction provides significant stability to the boards allowig for natural wood expansion without compromising on the real wood aesthetic.

During production, the sawn timber is passed through rotating brushes to highlight the grain structure and give natural texture to the surface. Additionally, a pigmented layer is applied to the timber's surface to give a specific tone to the wood. The surface is then pre-finished with a matt low sheen polyurethane coating that covers the pores of the wood and forms a hard resilient surface protecting it from dirt and moisture ingress.

With its 'Rustic' grading, all the natural features of a tree will be present with all shapes and sizes of knots. Distinctive sapwood and heartwood add further layers of beauty and you should expect checks and possibly some end shake.

All four sides of this plank feature a bevelled edge which accentuates the outer perimeter of each individual board. HW2102 features a click system profile and should be fully bonded to the subfloor using a suitable adhesive or floated on a high-quality underlay.
