HW3786 Amazon is characterised by the sanding texture of the sawmill that is retained to create a tactile finish. The surface is prefinished with a UV cured hardwax oil with a white pigment added that offers the advantages of lacquer with the subtlety of oil, the micro-porous, water-repellent surface also offers higher protection from stains.

With its character grading, you should not be surprised to find both heartwood and sapwood. Knots may be larger and you should also expect the presence of checks.

The subtle two-sided bevel found upon the long edges adds visual interest, yet keeps the ends of the boards closely connected for an uninterrupted flow. The planks include a tongue and groove profile and can be floated on a high-quality underlay, and can also be installed by glue or nail down installation.
