This light white engineered European Oak floor is installed in a herringbone pattern. The engineered construction adds significant stability to the board allowing for natural wood expansion without compromising on the real wood aesthetic.
HW3005 Blanco is characterised by the sanding texture of the sawmill that is retained to create a tactile finish. The surface is prefinished with a UV cured hardwax oil with an extra white pigment added that offers the advantages of lacquer with the subtety of oil, the micro-porous, water-repellant surface also offers higher protection from stains.
With its prime grading, you should find few, if any knots, and these would be of minimal size. There will also be a minimal amount of sapwood and filler it at all. Prime grade timber offers the cleanest and minimalist look.
All four sides of this plank feature a bevelled edge which accentuates the outer perimeter of each individual board. The planks include a tongue and groove profile and should be fully bonded to the subfloor using a suitable adhesive.
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that Havwoods Ltd is consulted before specifying.
