HW2069 Holme 1-Strip - Engineered European Oak Wood Flooring - Matt Lacquered - 14x180mm - Character

HW2069 Holme is a light brown engineered European oak floor installed in a 1-strip pattern. It's engineered construction provides significant stability to the boards allowing for natural wood expansion without compromising on the real wood aesthetic.

During production, a pigmented layer is applied to the timber's surface to give a specific tone to the wood. The is surface is then pre-finished with a matt low sheen polyurethane coating that covers the pores of the wood and forms a hard resilient surface protecting it from dirt and moisture ingress.

Designated as 'Character' grade, you should not be surprised to find both heartwood and sapwood. Knots may be larger, and you should also expect the presence of checks.

The subtle two-sided bevel found upon the long edges adds visual interest yet keeps the ends of the boards closely connected for an uninterrupted flow. HW2069 includes a click system profile and should be fully bonded to the subfloor using a suitable adhesive or floated on a high-quality underlay.
