Milson HW14112 - Engineered Wood Flooring Matt Lacquered European Oak 1-Strip 14x180mm Classic

HW14112 Milson is a light brown floor offered in a one strip pattern. It's engineered construction adds significant stability to the board allowing for natural wood expansion without compromising on the real wood aesthetic.

The surface is characterised by the timber being passed through rotating brushes to highlight the grain structure and give natural texture to the surface, it is then treated with two stages of pigment are applied to highlight the natural grain structure of the timber as well as create an overall tone to the finished floor. Then HW14112 is prefinished with a matt low sheen polyurethane coating that covers the pores of the wood and forms a hard resilient surface protecting it from dirt and moisture ingress.

With its classic grading, the floor will show the natural variation of the timber without some of the more characterful features in more rustic grades. Variation between tone from heartwood and sapwood can be expected but is controlled.

All four sides of this plank feature a bevelled edge which accentuates the outer perimeter of each individual board. The planks have a tongue and groove profile and should be fully bonded to the subfloor using a suitable adhesive.
