In 2017, the Ministry of Housing announced that FD30 composite fire doors manufactured by Manse Mastador failed safety tests. These were the same type that contributed to the Grenfell Tower tragedy. As a result, the ministry requested that UK fire door manufacturers have their products tested to ensure compliance with legal safety standards.
