HW1595 Antique is an engineered European oak floor installed in a herringbone pattern. This dark brown floor's engineered construction provides significant to the boards allowing for natural wood expansion without compromising on the real wood aesthetic.
Hand-processing of the timber creates and aged appearance along with texture and character to the surface of HW1595. The surface is then prefinished with a natural oil that penetrates deep into the grain for added protection yet allows the surface to breathe.
Designated as 'Rustic' grade, all the natural features of a tree will be present with all shapes and sizes of knots. Distinctive sapwood and heartwood add further layers of beauty and you should expect checks and possibly some end shake.
All four sides of this plank feature a bevelled edge which accentuates the outer perimeter of each individual board. HW1595 includes a tongue & groove profile and can be floated on a high-quality underlay and can also be installed by glue or nail down installation.
HW1595 is FSC® Certified (FSC-C009500).
