Planed Rustic Oak Mantel Piece For Fireplace Surrounds (920mm)

Our beautiful mantel pieces, made from partially dried solid oak and are perfect for fireplace surrounds. These 3ft or 920mm mantels are made to order meaning everyone is unique. As these are made from a natural product, and so they may contain natural cracks and knots, and may also have one or two waney edged meaning each mantel may not be perfectly straight and square.
Even though these mantels have been planed, these may require further work e.g. sanding, to achieve your desired look and once the PAR is applied, you will lose roughly 6mm from its original size.
Your mantel will be supplied planed all round, leaving a fairly smooth finish to your beam. If you wish, you can sand your beam down further yourself to achieve a completely smooth finish.
