Mansion flooring is a deeply striped brown oak character grade board which looks dramatic when finished with a hard wax oil.
Perhaps more suited to contemporary spaces, Mansion oak flooring is the latest addition to our popular range of 14mm solid oak flooring.
This is ideal for situations where there is a limit on room height or where battening a floor is not possible.
That said, 14mm flooring is more than strong enough to substitute for a standard 20mm board if used as a traditional floorboard fixed to joists.
The distinctive striping in these boards is caused by a fungus living in the oak tree and is sometimes called brown oak.
We love it and judging from the demand we've seen, lots of you do too!
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that Peak Oak is consulted before specifying.
