Black Oak is Junckers' best-selling dark wood floor, a rich, dark solid oak floor with beautiful grain patterns. The dark stain mimics the natural process known as ‘bog oak’, where felled oak trees submerged in bogs take on a deep, dark hue, drawn deep into the tree trunk. Junckers' dark wooden floors are pre-finished, with a perfect, factory applied seal of oil or lacquer. Not only does this process render our dark wooden floors strong and durable, able to withstand the wear and tear of daily life and can even be sanded and refinished without losing their good looks. Junckers' dark wood floors also work perfectly with underfloor heating and are PEFC and FSC® certified.
