Walnut: whether solid or engineered, is instantly recognised by its beautiful dark brown heartwood and creamy brown sapwood - with lots of other colours hidden throughout! A truly fantastic Timber floor. American Walnut is generally darker than European. Elegant, dark toned boards - for a formal setting or that 'wow' factor.
Quite hard to get a perfect finish - the oiled is the more natural finish. Available in solid, two thickness of engineered and also makes a great black, herringbone style, floor.
