Fumed Brushed and Oiled

Amazing sustainable solid oak flooring. We have taken wide, long boards and then fumed with amonia. Do not worry the smells stays with us!
This treatment caused the Timber to go dark all through. Please be aware that there can be colour variation as sometimes timbers will not take the fuming in places and these sections will be lighter.
We can Single fume the timber - which gives the timber depth, very warm, brings out the nutty brown bits. This photograph is single fumed solid oak which we call the Baroness.
We can also double fume - which makes the timber a lot darker, quite striking and brings out the darkness of the oak which we call the Baron.
