Ash Morrone is in the dark range and is produced by a thermo- treatment process, the top layer of the board is placed in a kiln, the oxygen is removed from the kiln then the boards are heated to very high temperature which causes the boards to change colour, the higher the temperature the darker the colour of the boards.
Ash Morrone is a rustic board heavily brushed the surface is full of natural character. Having strong contrasting colour variation and grain pattern.
Surface textures:
Brushed: The board is brushed along the grain which removes the soft fibres to leave a slightly textured grain.
Surface treatments: natural oiled.
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that Admonter UK is consulted before specifying.
