These Torx Drive Micro Profile Head Screws are also referred to as six lobe slim head screws. They are suitable for use in narrow spaces where a raised head screw generally would not fit. When they are fastened, they are totally flat offering an aesthetically pleasing low profile finish to an application, as well as high torque and the resisting of cam out.
The vent in the screw allows trapped gas or air to escape once the screw has been threaded. These screws are used in a range of applications and industries including electronics and robotics.
The Aluminium versions, as well as being lightweight, have a number of other advantages such as their resistance to atmospheric corrosion and chemical corrosion. Those that are coloured may be chosen for various reasons, such as matching the application, standing out in a quirky design, or to aid in colour coding.
