Pin TX Button Flange Security Screws (ISO 7380-2 with Pin)

Pin TX Button Flange Security screws are made to ISO 7380-2 and hosts a 6-point star-shaped screw head, with a centre pin. This does not work with standard torx bits meaning a special insert bit or key wrench is required to insert and remove it.
They are also referred to as Star Pin Drive screws, Tamper Torx , Torx Pin and Resistorx .
These screws offer medium security resistance against intruders at a relatively low cost. It is an ideal fastener for situations where regular maintenance is required due to it s two-way reusability.
They have a rounded design paired with a larger surface area. This rounded design reduces damage to the mating parts, making it ideal in decorative applications or where a larger bearing surface is required.
Compared with other drives like Phillips or 2-Hole, there is reduced slippage or cam-out which reduces the risk of damage to the drive tip, screw head or application making it more cost-effective to install and remove.
It can be used alongside Pin TX Barrel Nuts, Security Wave Nuts, Shear Nuts, Kinmar Reusable Nuts, Kinmar Permanent Nuts or 4-Hole Nuts for added security.
Pin TX Button Flange Security screws are made to order from Fastenright. Made as standard in both A2 Stainless Steel and A4 Stainless Steel, with Steel and Steel Zinc Plated available on request.
Thread diameters from M2 to M12, with lengths ranging from 3mm to 120mm.
