Security Pin Button Head Tricle Captive Screws

by Fastenright

Security Pin Button Head Tricle Captive Screws are used in high-security applications as an anti-vandalism or anti-theft fastener.
Captive screws are designed with an unthreaded portion below the head often referred to as the reduced shank. Once installed, this screw is meant to self retain, which prevents any loss of fasteners.
Often found within applications in public spaces, such as vending machines, public toilets, playgrounds, hospitals, and to a lesser extent public telephones. They provide security against the threat of tampering or damage from vandals or thieves.
These fasteners can also be used within home security and are often found on car license plates, gas meters and window frames.
Pin Button Tricle Captive screws feature a pin drive with a rounded, three-prong shape.
Available as Tricle Type A and Tricle Type B from Fastenright. These screws are available in lengths ranging from 12mm upwards, and in diameters from M3 to M8.
Non-standard sizes, materials and finishes are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and custom parts made to drawings.

d1 and L1 dimensions can be to customer specification.
