2-Hole Raised Countersunk Security Machine Screw

by Fastenright

Typically used within the electrical trade, these tamper resistant machine screws are ideal for use within acccess control panels, prisons, hospitals, mental health facilities, schools, lifts, trains and other public areas.
The screws design makes it suitable for low to medium torque applications and the screw is a reusable fixing, ideal for applications where maintenance is required.
For installation, the two holes can be drilled at different distances between centres, so we advise purchasing the screws and corresponding bits or drivers from the same supplier.
2-Hole screws are more prone to cam-out than other security screws, so users should be aware that when tightening the screw, the drive bits are prone to bending or breaking after prolonged use. We recommend purchasing additional drive bits as back up.
Within the industry 2 Hole security screws are also referred to by other names including Snake Eye, Pig Nose, Two Pin and Spanner Drive Screws.
Pig nose machine screws can be used with Security Wave Nuts, Shear Nuts, Kinmar Reusable Nuts, Kinmar Permanent Nuts, 4-Hole Nuts or Pin Torx Barrel Nuts for added security.
Available from Fastenright standard in M3.5 and supplied in A2 Stainless Steel.
Non-standard sizes and materials are available to order as specials, including custom parts made to drawings.
