Vented 6-Lobe Hexalobular Cap Screw

Our vented 6-Lobe Hexalobular Cap Screws host a six-lobe recess and are driven using a 6-Lobe wrench or insert bit, improving their efficiency compared to slotted screws and hex drive screws.
Often referred to as a Torx head capscrew or an Allen bolt, these screws have a cylindrical head and are usually supplied in 12.9 grade steel, making them a high strength fastener and suitable for very demanding applications.
The vent in the screw allows trapped air and gas to escape after the screw has been threaded, avoiding a virtual leak in the application.
Available from Fastenright in grade 8.8 and 12.9 Steel, A2 and A4 Stainless Steel in sizes ranging from M3 to M16. Other materials can be requested as specials.
We also offer vented hexalobular socket cap head screws in UNC, UNF, BSW and BSF, with tamper-resistant security drive also available upon request.
Non-standard sizes and materials are available to order, including custom parts made to drawings.
