FasPlas TX Pan Thread Forming Screws, also known as 6 Lobe or Star Drive, are designed specifically for use with Plastics and other soft materials.
TX Pan Thread Forming Screws are available in 30 and 45 thread angles giving a choice depending on the appropriate level of resistance required. They are an economic solution for fastening into Plastic and are installed into pre-drilled or moulded holes, forming a mating thread as they are fastened into the material.
Thread Forming Screws actually displace the material as they are fastened rather than removing it, which means they are a cost effective choice leaving no mess after installation. This shouldn t be confused with Thread Cutting screws that do remove material by cutting into it.
FasPlas TX Pan Thread Forming Screws come in a variety of sizes in a range of diameters and lengths. As well as being available in various sizes they are also manufactured in different finishes Zinc Steel, Black Steel, A2 Stainless Steel and A4 Stainless Steel.
