Slotted Countersunk Captive Screws are the perfect combination between a flat-headed countersunk screw and a captive shank, also referred to as a reduced thread.
Most importantly, the screw complies with the EU safety directive regarding machine guards. This is the same for all Captive Screws, with a huge range available at Fastenright.
They are used to fasten sheet metal or captive panels, held in place between the head of the screw and a captive washer preventing full removal and creating a self-retaining fastener.
Manufactured in A2 Stainless Steel and A4 Stainless Steel as standard, these Slotted Countersunk Reduced Thread Captive Screws can also be supplied in other materials including Titanium, Brass and many more.
Sizes available from M1.6 to M10, with lengths up to 120mm. Optional thread locking patches are available upon request.
Non-standard sizes, materials and finishes are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and custom parts made to drawings.
d and L1 dimensions can be to customer specification.
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that Fastenright is consulted before specifying.
