Security Pin TX Drive Cap Screw

Pin TX Security Cap Screws are medium security tamper-resistant fixings.
These 2-way reusable fixings are suitable for high torque applications and offer an economical solution for situations requiring medium security and where the fixing needs to be removed for maintenance. The 6-point star-shaped screw head with a centre pin, resists standard torx bits and requires a special insert bit or key wrench to insert and remove it.
They are also referred to as Star Pin Drive screws, Tamper Torx , Torx Pin and Resistorx .
Designed to reduce cam-out, which can occur in other drives such as Phillips and 2-Hole Drives, so there is less risk of damaging the drive, screw head or the application. The drive also allows better torque compared to more conventional screw heads.
Available in A4 Stainless Steel and Steel from Fastenright. Thread diameters from M2 to M10, with lengths ranging from 3mm to 100mm.
Non-standard sizes and materials are available to order as specials, including custom parts made to drawings.
