Security Pin Countersunk Head Tricle Captive Screws are often found in applications requiring anti-theft or anti-vandalism fasteners.
Captive screws are designed with an unthreaded portion below the head often referred to as the reduced shank. Once installed, this screw is meant to self retain, which prevents any loss of fasteners.
They can be found in households as part of doorknobs, parking poles and more. They are also used for public security, in places including bus stop timetables, solar panels and vending machines.
Pin Countersunk Head Tricle Captive Screws feature a pin drive and a rounded, three-pronged recess. They also feature a countersunk head which allows them to fit flush into their housing and provide an unintrusive, aesthetically pleasing finish.
Available in both Tricle Type A and Tricle Type B from Fastenright, manufactured in A2 Stainless Steel as standard.
Lengths from 12mm to 30mm, with diameters ranging from M3 to M8 as standard.
Non-standard sizes, materials and finishes are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and custom parts made to drawings.
d1 and L1 dimensions can be to customer specification.
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that Fastenright is consulted before specifying.
