Security E6 Drive Captive Screws

by Fastenright

Security E6 Drive Captive Screws host a unique, external non-slip drive head with six slots.
Captive screws are designed with an unthreaded portion below the head often referred to as the reduced shank. Once installed, this screw is meant to self retain, which prevents any loss of fasteners.
These tamper-proof security screws require a special driver tool to remove or install. As a two-way reusable drive, these screws are ideal for applications where regular maintenance is required.
They are suitable for higher torque applications, and with the drive head designed to reduce and resist cam-out, the risk of damaging the drive head or application is greatly reduced.
Security E6 Drive Captive Screws can be used alongside Security Wave Nuts, Shear Nuts, Kinmar Reusable Nuts, Kinmar Permanent Nuts, 4-Hole Nuts or Pin TX Barrel Nuts for improved security.
Manufactured in A2 Stainless Steel as standard, with other materials available to order.
