Pozi Countersunk Reduced Thread Captive Screws

by Fastenright

Pozi Countersunk Reduced Thread Captive Screws feature a Pozi drive, meaning they can only be installed or partially removed with Pozi screwdrivers or drive bits.
These fasteners are commonly used for safety purposes and are required by EU law in certain pieces of safety equipment.
The countersunk head allows the fastener to sit flush against the fastening material, if used with a countersink hole. Our full range of Captive Screws can be found here.
They are often found in machinery and industrial lines where the potential loss of a screw could cause damage to production, or to productivity levels, should one fall into a machine. This is aided by their design as these screws cannot be uninstalled once placed within their housing.
Manufactured in A2 Stainless Steel and A4 Stainless Steel as standard with other materials available to order on request, including Titanium and Brass. Thread locking patches are also available at Fastenright.
Pozi Countersunk Reduced Thread Captive Screws are available in thread diameters from M1.6 to M8 as standard, with lengths up to 100mm.
Non-standard sizes, materials and finishes are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and custom parts made to drawings.

d1 and L1 dimensions can be to customer specification.
