Plastic Wing Screws German Form (DIN 316)

German Form Plastic Wing Screws, often referred to as Plastic Wing Bolts, are created to DIN 316 standard and feature two flat, elongated ears or wings. These are larger and more rounded in shape, providing natural leverage and enabling the screws to be fastened by hand without the need for additional tools.
For use in low torque applications and typically found in the construction industry to allow for direct adjustments making them ideal for situations where regular adjustment or maintenance is required.
Plastic Wing Screws German Form to DIN 316 are manufactured from Nylon 66 (PA 66) as standard, with other Plastic materials available to order on request.
They can be used alongside Wing Nuts to create a fastener that is easily adjustable from either side as well as any matching Plastic & Nylon Nut.
Supplied in a White (natural) finish as standard. These Nylon Wing Screws can be dyed in a range of colours, including Black, to best match the intended application or assembly.
Thread sizes from M4 to M12 as standard, with thread lengths ranging from 6mm to 80mm. Please note that minimum order quantities apply.
Non-standard sizes, materials and colours are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and custom parts made to drawings.
