Plastic Carriage Bolts (DIN 603)

Plastic Carriage Bolts to DIN 603 standard host a mushroom head with a shallow dome design and larger diameter, coupled with a square underneath. This pulls into the fastening material to provide a secure fitting.
They are often referred to as Plastic Cup Square Bolts or Coach Bolts, and can be particularly useful if there is limited access to both sides of the fastener.
These bolts are commonly used in carpentry and timber construction for wood to wood joins, but may also be suitable for wood to metal joins. Other applications include DIY projects and general repair work.
Please note the dimensions of these Plastic Carriage Bolts are considered DIN 603 equivalents so should only be used as guidance.
Manufactured from Nylon 66 (PA 66) as standard – providing good vibration, wear and impact resistance. Regular Carriage Bolts are also available at Fastenright.
Supplied in a White (natural) colour as standard, but can be dyed a variety of different colours depending on your application or requirements.
Nylon Carriage Bolts are available at Fastenright in thread diameters from M3 to M12 as standard, with lengths from 16mm to 90mm. Minimum order quantities apply.
