Pin Hex Button Head Security Screws host a security drive design which offers a medium security resistance against vandals and thieves at a relatively low cost.
The drive design makes the screw suitable for higher torque applications and is a two-way re-usable fixing making it the ideal security fastener where maintenance is regularly required.
Designed to reduce cam-out, which can occur often in Phillips and 2-Hole Drives and also reduce the risk of damaging the drive tip, screw head and also the application. The hex drive also allows better torque compared to conventional screw heads and require a special key or driver bit to fit or remove.
Also often referred to as Hex Pin, Tamper hex, Socket Screw with Pin and ISO 7380 with pin.
Available in M3 to M16 as standard from Fastenright.
Non-standard sizes are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and custom parts made to drawings.
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that Fastenright is consulted before specifying.
