Phillips Pan Head Reduced Thread Captive Screws

by Fastenright

Phillips Pan Head Reduced Thread Captive Screws, a variation of DIN 7985H, are a specialist product that are unable to be fully removed from a hole after installation.
The inability to fully remove the fastener creates a secure join, avoiding loss or damage within an application or assembly. See our full range of Captive Screws here.
Often used to fasten sheet metal or captive panels, the fastener fixes the components between the head of the screw and a captive washer creating a self-retaining fastener.
The Pan style head is slightly domed in shape, reducing the risk of catching it once installed while offering a smooth, clean finish to an assembly.
Manufactured as standard in A2 Stainless Steel and A4 Stainless Steel, with specialist materials available to order such as Titanium and Phosphor Bronze. Optional thread locking patches also available on request.
Phillips Pan Head Reduced Thread Captive Screws are available in thread diameters from M1.4 to M8 and a selection of lengths from 6mm to 100mm.
Non-standard sizes, materials and finishes are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and custom parts made to drawings.
d1 and L1 dimensions can be to customer specification.
