These Hex setscrews are fully threaded, unlike their counterpart the Hex Bolt which only hosts part of a thread, giving them more flexibility in assembly.
Hex setscrews can be used in pre-tapped holes, and paired with corresponding nuts and washers.
Larger diameters would be found in heavy engineering projects, whilst the smaller diameters would be found in lighter types of industry.
They are available from Fastenright with metric threads from M3 to M36, with imperial sizes also available.
A large amount of finishes are available for these Hex setscrews.
Non-standard sizes and materials are available to order as specials, including custom parts made to drawings.
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that Fastenright is consulted before specifying.
