Hex Head Self Tapping screws are fixed into metals or hard plastics and host a hexagon shaped head, which increases fastening torque and reduce slipping of the tool during insertion.
They are designed to create their own threads within a pre-drilled pilot hole and intended to provide a robust fastening solution when installed with a spanner or wrench.
Whilst Hex Head Self Tapping screws are available as standard in Steel and Stainless Steel, we can provide them in a range of materials and specialist finishes.
Available in No.6 to No.14 gauge and lengths from 3/8 to 2 as standard, with other sizes available to order.
Non-standard sizes, materials and finishes are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and custom parts made to drawings.
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that Fastenright is consulted before specifying.
