Brass Knurled Shouldered Thumb Screws (DIN 464)

by Fastenright

Brass Knurled Shouldered Thumb Screws, High Type made to DIN 464 standard, host a cylindrical head with large diameter for increased usability and performance.
The oversized head and knurled edge provides increased friction and a larger surface area, allowing the screws to be installed and removed by hand with no additional tools.
They are often used to fasten safety covers, battery compartments and panels, as well as in mechanical applications where regular modifications or adjustments are required.
Brass is typically a pale tan or gold-like colour, providing a decorative finish to any application or assembly. It is a rust-proof alloy with good corrosion resistance great for both indoor and outdoor use or as part of equipment requiring lower electrical conductivity.
These High Type Brass Knurled Thumb Screws to DIN 464 are also available in A1 (303) Stainless Steel, with other specialist materials available to order e.g. Titanium and Aluminium. Optional thread locking patches can also be supplied on request.
Available in thread sizes from M3 to M10 as standard, with lengths ranging from 4mm to 50mm. Knurled Captive Shouldered Thumb Screws are also available at Fastenright, hosting a reduced thread for safety critical applications.
Non-standard sizes, materials and finishes are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and custom parts made to drawings.
