Brass Hexagon Socket Shoulder Screws (ISO 7379)

by Fastenright

Brass Hexagon Socket Shoulder Screws to ISO 7379 are different to most socket fasteners in that they consist of three main sections the head, the thread and a plain un-threaded shoulder positioned in between.
Typically referred to as Shoulder Bolts, Stripper Bolts or Precision Shoulder Screws, the smooth shouldered portion hosts a larger diameter than the threaded section. This allows the fastened material to rotate around the axis of the screw.
These Brass Shoulder Bolts often feature a knurled head, providing increased grip to enable quicker and easier fastening by hand. They are often found in range of mechanical applications including engines, linkages and pulleys while being ideal for use as stationary guides and pivots.
Note: Shoulder Screws are measured differently than most other socket fasteners, where the length of the unthreaded shoulder is variable and the threaded length remains the same.
Manufactured from solid Brass, these Hexagon Socket Shoulder Screws to ISO 7379 are non-magnetic, rust-proof and provide good corrosion resistance. Socket Shoulder Screws to ISO 7379 are also available in A2 Stainless Steel and A4 Stainless Steel, with specialist materials such as Titanium and Aluminium available to order.
Thread diameters from M3 to M10 as standard, with lengths ranging from 4mm to 30mm. Optional thread locking patches are available on request.
Non-standard sizes, materials and finishes are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and custom parts made to drawings.
