Brass Hexagon Socket Countersunk Screws (DIN 7991)

by Fastenright

Brass Hexagon Socket Countersunk Head Screws are made to DIN 7991 standard or ISO 10462, hosting a hex socket drive that offers increased resistance to cam-out compared to other standard drives e.g. Phillips or slotted.
Fastened into a countersunk hole using a hex wrench or insert bit, these screws are suitable for use with power drivers to enable higher torque and reduce installation time. Once installed, they sit flush within the target housing to offer a clean and aesthetic finish reducing the likelihood of being snagged or causing injury.
They are widely used across a range of industries, often for vintage mechanical and engineering applications due to their bright gold-like appearance.
Manufactured from Brass as standard. Brass is a rust-proof material providing good corrosion resistance and anti-bacterial properties for exterior use or situations where a self-sterilising fastener is required.
Hex Socket Countersunk Screws are available in other materials including A2 and A4 Stainless Steel with exotic materials available to order e.g. Aluminium and Titanium.
As standard, these Brass Hexagon Socket Countersunk Screws (DIN 7991) are available in thread sizes from M4 to M16, with lengths ranging from 10mm to 90mm. Optional thread locking patches can also be provided.
Non-standard sizes, materials and finishes are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and custom parts made to drawings.
