Aluminium Socket Countersunk Screws (DIN 7991)

by Fastenright

Aluminium Socket Countersunk Screws are created to DIN 7991 standard and feature a hexagonal recess. They are driven using a hex wrench or insert bit, which makes them more efficient than slotted products.
The hex socket drive has a higher resistance to cam out and can be used with power drives, which enables faster use and higher achievable torque.
Countersunk screws are often used in applications that require an aesthetically pleasing finish as they sit flush in the target housing.
They are designed to be used in pre-drilled countersunk recesses.
There are a number of variants available also, including vented and captive.
Available from Fastenright as standard in M2 to M36 and in lengths from 3mm upwards, with specials available to order. Imperial diameters are also available.
Non-standard sizes are available to order as specials, including custom parts made to drawings.
