Acoustic Anechoic Wedge System

by Envirosound

As part of ongoing research and development there is often a need for companies to carry out regular and accurate measurement of noise emissions. Simulation of ‘free field’ environments can only be achieved with the use of special anechoic or semi-anechoic chambers in order to create the effect of at least 99 percent absorption at predetermined frequencies eg. 100Hz.

We have developed a standard acoustic anechoic wedge design, manufactured from a non-flammable light weight rigid foam, which can be supplied in modular banks and adjusted to suit differing ‘cut off’ frequencies. The design and install of these facilities can be readily carried out by our experienced engineers with careful consideration to optimum room sizes, base structure design, actual cut off frequencies required and high performance attenuated ventilation systems.
