HD1041 Acoustically Insulated Wall Lining System

The Hush HD1041 Wall Lining System is a rigorously tested solution for achieving high levels of sound insulation in walls construction as timber stud, steel stud, brick or block. Its excellent performance exceeds that of many competitor wall lining products and it is fully compliant with the Building Regulations covering all nations of the UK.

By using this system, a high standard of airborne sound reduction can be achieved, with both flanking and direct sound transmission dramatically reduced and a minimum loss of space. The system is formed using Hush Acoustics' high quality acoustic insulation products in the following way:

• 15mm Gyproc Fireline plasterboard is installed over Hush Multi Panel, an innovative acoustic multi-purpose soundboard that contains high levels of mass to ensure optimum acoustic performance, ensuring that all joints are staggered.
• All perimeters are sealed using the Hush Isolation Tape and Hush acoustic sealant.
• Both boards are fixed to Hush Deep Resilient Bars and Hush Slab 25 Sound Absorber is fitted between the Hush Bars.
• Hush Bar Deep Resilient Bars are fixed horizontally at 450mm centres to the wall.
