10 Plus Roof Waterproofing System

The 10 Plus Roof Waterproofing System is made up of rubber modified, bituminous coatings reinforced with two polyester carriers, with the addition of an SBS modified, polyester reinforced base sheet, which acts as a carrier for the liquid coatings. This can be either self-adhered or bonded to the substrate using Hyflex Cold Bond liquid adhesive. The system is suitable for use over traditional roofing membranes, such as asphalt and built-up felt, and for intricate detail work. Hyflex 10 Plus is based on the constituent materials of Hyflex 10 and provides the same highly effective, flexible and resilient waterproofing properties with additional puncture resistance which makes it more appropriate for use over compressible substrates. It is designed to take maintenance traffic.

System components:
- Hyvodex Primer: A low viscosity, solvent-based bituminous primer.
- Hyflex Cold Bond Adhesive: A cold applied liquid adhesive.
- Hyflex Base Coat: A filled bituminous high-build coating, available in both solution (winter) and emulsion (summer) formulations.
- Hyflex Finish Coat: A rubber modified liquid bitumen designed to give maximum elasticity to the weathering layer and resistance to flexural fatigue. Also available in winter and summer grades.
- Hyflex Membrane: A 50 gram bi-component polyester/ polyamide reinforcement membrane, which because of its thermally welded composition provides high tensile strength and puncture resistance to the system.
- Hyflex Membrane D: A warp knitted polyester membrane with superb drape characteristics which is designed to facilitate work on complex details. In addition, in stress situations at upstands and flashings, it provides exceptional strength and flexibility to the system.
