15 Roof Waterproofing System

The 15 Roof Waterproofing System utilises traditional bituminous liquid coatings combined with additional modified coatings, which provide increased flexibility, strength and durability. The system is suitable for use over traditional roofing membranes, such as asphalt and built-up felt, timber and concrete, and for intricate detail work and is suitable for maintenance traffic.

System components:
- Hyvodex Primer: A low viscosity, solvent-based bituminous primer.
- Hyflex Cold Bond Adhesive: A cold applied liquid adhesive.
- Hyflex Base Sheet: An SBS modified base sheet reinforced with a 180 gramme polyester fleece.
- Hyflex Base Coat: A filled bituminous high-build coating, available in both solution (winter) and emulsion (summer) formulations.
- Hyflex Finish Coat: A rubber modified liquid bitumen designed to give maximum elasticity to the weathering layer and resistance to flexural fatigue. Also available in winter and summer grades.
- Hyflex Membrane: A 50 gram bi-component polyester/ polyamide reinforcement membrane, which because of its thermally welded composition provides high tensile strength and puncture resistance to the system.
- Hyflex Membrane D: A warp knitted polyester membrane with superb drape characteristics which is designed to facilitate work on complex details. In addition, in stress situations at upstands and flashings, it provides exceptional strength and flexibility to the system.
