Titanium Full Nuts are created to DIN 934 standard and are a commonly used mating part alongside a bolt, threaded rod or parallel threaded screw.
They are also often referred to as Hexagon Nuts as they host six-sides. which make them easier to work with tools.
These nuts work through a combination of friction on the thread and compression of the parts together. Full thread engagement is also achievable.
Full Nuts are able to fasten a bolt or screw securely through a threaded hole, with the threads tending to be right-handed.
It is advisable to match the material of the nut, in this case titanium, with the material of the fastener.
Available as standard in Grade 2 Titanium and Grade 5 Titanium from Fastenright, in diameters from M1.6 to M56.
Non-standard sizes are available to order as specials, including custom parts made to drawings.
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that Fastenright is consulted before specifying.
