Heavy-Duty Insert Nut for Soft Wood (IN11)

Heavy Duty Insert Nuts (IN11) are available in long lengths, up to 100mm. This Steel fastener is excellent for use in a wide range of heavy-duty applications and is RoHS compliant. Some sizes are also CE compliant (please check the availability table below for information).
Designed for use in softwoods such as conifers, plywood and chipboards, this robust fastener exists in diameters from 8mm to 25mm. It has a blind hole in lengths from 5mm to 24mm with a standardised internal thread of between M4 and M16.
A pilot hole of between 6mm and 21.5mm should be drilled and this slot-less fastener can be installed manually. It is, however, more common to use a semi or fully automated process such as a specifically designed driver which has a high workload ball bearing (recommended tool available from Fastenright).
