Slotted Insert Nut for Soft Wood and Soft Plastics (IN09)

Insert Nuts (IN09) are thin-walled slotted inserts, designed primarily for use in all types of soft wood and composite boards, although they can also be appropriate for use in certain types of soft plastics. The high quality Zinc Plated inserts meet RoHS standards and are corrosion resistant.
A pilot hole slightly larger than the diameter of the insert should be drilled first and then insertion can be achieved manually or by using a semi-automated or fully automated process.
Thin Walled Slotted Insert Nut for Soft Wood and Plastics are manufactured in Steel (Zinc and Self Colour) or Brass, with diameters available from 8mm to 16mm and in lengths from 8mm to 36mm.
