All Metal Self Locking Nut Std

This standard all metal self locking nut is a one piece locknut which includes a de-pitched self-locking slot on the turret portion. This grips the shank or thread of the bolt during installation.
This self-locking nut is highly resistant to vibration and temperature changes, making it suitable for use within environments with temperatures ranging from -200 C to 400 C; dependant on the material and finishes.
Standard type all metal self locking nuts are available in Metric threads only.
Available as standard in A2 and A4 Stainless Steel, and in grades of Steel ranging through 5, 8 and 10.
These locknuts can also be manufactured to order in Brass, Bronze and Titanium.
Non-standard sizes, materials and finishes are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and custom parts made to drawings.
