All Metal Self Locking Flange Nut

This locknut is a one-piece all metal self locking nut that also hosts a captive disc spring washer.
The locking feature of this nut is achieved by the two de-pitched self locking slots found on the turret portion if the nut.
When they are installed within their application, the slotted turret section reverts to its original form and each slot grips the shank or thread of the bolt on two different planes and opposite sides.
The self locking feature of this flange nut has many advantages in ensuring that the bolt is not damaged.
The locknut has a high resistance to temperature and can be used in volatile environments with temperatures ranging between -200 C and 400 C.
These all metal self locking flange nuts are available in Metric, UNC and UNF threads.
Available as standard in A2 and A4 Stainless Steel, and grades 8 and 10 Steel. UNC and UNF thread nuts are available in Stainless Steel AISI 304 and AISI 316, and Steel grades 5, 8 and 10.
