Titanium Dome Cap Nuts are hexagon nuts are made to DIN 1587 standard and feature a domed head that resembles an acorn. At times, these nuts are referred to as acorn nuts or crowned hex nuts.
They are generally used for decorative or aesthetic purposes, concealing the threaded end of a fastener for a pleasing aesthetic finish.
The dome of this nut acts as a barrier, stopping unwanted contact with other components and the completed fastening a strong finish.
They are also able to be used as an alternative to the supplied fixing in car modifications.
Available from Fastenright as standard in sizes M3 to M30 in Grade 2 Titanium, and sizes M1 to M20 in Grade 5 Titanium.
Non-standard sizes are available to order as specials, including custom parts made to drawings.
