These steel inserts have a circular drive and can be inserted manually or by employing a semi or fully automated technique.
These steel inserts have a circular drive and can be inserted manually or by employing a semi or fully automated technique. They are thin walled and indicated for installation in plastic, soft woods, chipboard and plywood. These threaded steel inserts have a full internal thread with sizes from M4 to M10 and are available in lengths from 8 to 20mm with diameters from 6.5 to 16mm. The wide external thread runs the length of the insert to provide good resistance to twisting and pull out. These steel inserts are excellent conductors of electrical current and have a high tensile strength. They are also hardy against corrosion so offering a long-term reusable thread.
