Barrel nuts featuring a raised countersunk head, similar to the style usually found in light switches and plug sockets, with a slotted drive. It can be fastened with a standard flat blade screwdriver.
Also known as sleeve nuts, they are used with screws of the same thread diameter, to clamp two or more pieces of material together.

The head diameters for these slotted raised countersunk barrel nuts differ slightly to DIN 964 raised countersunk screws.
Available from Fastenright as standard in A1 Stainless steel, a material which is specifically designed for machining, as well as A4 Stainless Steel for applications requiring superior corrosion resistance in environments exposed to saltwater. Certain sizes are available in A2.
Non-standard sizes and materials are available to order as specials, including custom parts made to drawings.
