Rivet Nut Flange Head Half Hex

by Fastenright

Rivet Nut Flange Head fasteners with a half hex body are designed to fit into a hexagon hole, eliminating the problem of the rivet nut turning after being installed.
Rivet nuts are a form of internally threaded inserts and are used in applications where the material thickness may be too small to tap a conventional thread. The use of rivet nuts creates a strong thread to help with high strength fastening from bolts and other threaded items.
Suitable for load-bearing applications, the flange head acts to reinforce the hole and has excellent resistance to push out forces.
Rivet Nut Flange Head Half Hex fasteners are manufactured in Zinc Plated Steel, A2 Stainless Steel and A4 Stainless Steel as standard.
Available from Fastenright in thread diameters from M3 to M12 as standard.
Non-standard sizes, materials and finishes are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and custom parts made to drawings.
