This countersunk rivet nut with a closed end body is a form of internally threaded insert, used in applications where a wall’s thickness is too small to tap a conventional thread.
The countersunk head allows it to be used within applications without extra hole preparation and allows it to sit flush into the application’s housing hole. They can be installed into pre-coated applications without damaging the surface.
Rivet Nut Countersunk Closed End Body fasteners are typically used to stop moisture or other contaminants from getting close to or into the product.
Manufactured in A2 Stainless Steel, and A4 Stainless Steel – which contains a higher percentage of Nickel and Molybdenum – making it perfect for marine, coastal or even industrial applications.
Available from Fastenright in sizes from M4 to M10 as standard.
Non-standard sizes, materials and finishes are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and custom parts made to drawings.
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that Fastenright is consulted before specifying.
